Our nation is a nation of many. Our ancestors were the Irish, the Italian, the Indian, the Hispanic, the Polish, the Jew, the German, the African, the French, the British, the Canadian, the Russian, the Asian, the countless collective heroes of nations who yearned for the liberty of a chosen few.

Throughout history, we have opened our arms, our hearts, our wallets. We have sacrificed our children, our spouses, our siblings in the name of equality and the right of each man to pursue his own happiness.

We have made mistakes. We have been prideful. We have been human. We have been humbled by the hand of fate which has snatched us back into a painful reality. We have been many things, evolving always into chasers of dreams. We have appreciated, as well as taken for granted, the freedoms that our forefathers died for, their voices haunting us from a distant past.

We have, by some men's measure, been the caretakers of too much richness of life. We are The United States of America, respecter of each man and woman's right to enjoy these freedoms without fear of reprisal and without intimidation by those who may be envious of our strengths. We will prevail - with wisdom, with insight into the enemies of Man, with perseverance, with humanity, and with conviction.

We will not succumb to the role of the injured party who suffers in silence forever. We will protect our families with whatever may be required to free ourselves from the Net of Tyranny. We will choose to accept our allies, joined in a universal quest to preserve a peaceful co-existence with the nations from which we originated.

We are a Nation of Survivors, always making our choices based on the ultimatums of interference given to us from outsiders who leave us no other course except to defend our selves with righteous indignation.

Hundreds of years of enduring the suffering of humanity will be our shield. Self-preservation will nurture our strength. Belief in a power greater than all mankind will guide us through the halls of greatness.
