Several years ago,

     I  journeyed to the Grand Canyon.

         At the time, I wasn't sure why

           I felt so compelled to go,

              but casting all reason aside,

                 I packed up all my belongings

                    and my puppies and we set out

                       on what was probably

                           the most memorable

                              experience of my life.

                               For more than a week,

                          I tramped through the majesty

                   of the North Rim

             shooting roll after roll of film,

       in a complete state of euphoria.

  The end result

       was this body of work

            for which I will ever be grateful

                to have been privileged to absorb.

                     It was just one of Life's

                         profound experiences

                              that changed me forever…
