Tomorrow from out of the sky

I am coming to you on Flight 2933

I wish that I could express to you all the

Feelings that are running wild in my chest

The heart that I gave to you not so long ago

The brain bids it cease the pace of its beat

Cease the charge without regard

For the safety of a carefully planned

Approach that gives only the amount or less

Than it receives.

Alas, though it risks the bleeding

Of a heart broken beyond repair

The charge goes forward with reckless abandon

Toward the unknown, uncharted waters, filled with

The uncertainty and unexpected, of love without return.

It cannot and will not know

The value of its charge until

The morrow has come and gone

And in its place has left the memories

Of the risk that was taken

And the prize that was won

By giving all in the anxious expectation

That love given is returned.
