Nothing seems constant anymore.

     Acquaintances come and go.

          Companies are formed,

              acquired,

                   merged,

                       dissolved.

                              Employees perform,

                                  tire,

                                      and retire.

                                            Computers change as often

                                                as one does his socks.

                                                    Products are invented,

                                                         marketed;

                                                              profits taken,

                                                                   abandoned.

                                                             Homes are built,

                                                         enjoyed,

                                                     shared,

                                                 replaced.

                                            Promises are made,

                                        broken;

                              hopes and dreams

                       are destroyed

                  by reality.

                      Forever…

                           is until tomorrow.

                                 Love, though eternal,

                                         lasts only for a moment.

                                                The only thing constant

                                             is change itself...
