Virus Updates

There are now so many new strains of viruses and trojans that it would be a full time job to do just that. Our suggestion? Break down and buy a good virus and firewall software; run both, and make certain you keep them updated. It is no longer safe to be on the Internet if you don't know what you're doing, what your're downloading, and what someone may be viewing on your computer.

Safety Tips: When sending out email to others, do not put their email address in the CC box, use the BCC box instead, so that the whole Internet cannot see and steal their email addresses. Then, in the TO box, use your own email address, so you will be delivered a copy of the email to let you know when and if the email you thought you sent out did indeed go.

WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU to treat all e-mails and files received with caution and, if you haven't already done so, update your antivirus softwares, and don't FORWARD or open FORWARDED emails. Be advised; also, that a lot of the virus software updates are still not current, as these viruses are new.

Last but not least, check the Microsoft.com website often and keep your Windows software updated with the latest security updates. This is crucial!
